March 15, 2022 Corporate traffic logistics commemorates 30 years in business

Anniversary Follows Record Year Of Revenue Growth For Family-owned Business

In 1992, Corporate Traffic founder and president Chris Cline set out his vision for his third party logistics company, he knew he had the roadmap for a successful company. Joined by his brothers Chad and Craig a few years later, they meticulously built Corporate Traffic into an award-winning full-service asset-based logistics company with a national reach.

Today, Corporate Traffic is a $150 million firm with more than 100 employees across offices in Jacksonville, FL and Charlotte, NC. In 2021, the company increased revenue by 115% over their previous high in 2020.

“My father owned a trucking company back in our hometown in Oklahoma so my brothers and I grew up in the trucking business,” said Chris Cline, president of Corporate Traffic. “We knew we had the passion and we had a gameplan but it is truly humbling to see what this company has become after 30 years in business.”

As with most companies starting out, establishing a foothold in the market was challenging. In 1995, Chris and Chad Cline took a bold step and added an asset division, Corporate Transportation, to provide more flexibility in meeting customer needs in the marketplace. As business grew in the 1990’s, younger brother Craig Cline joined the business and quickly assumed the role of Director of Operations.

During the next two decades, the company outgrew two offices, opened a second in Charlotte and moved into a new 25,000 square foot headquarters building on Jacksonville’s southside. During that time, the company received recognition from numerous organizations for their growth and culture, including several national and regional awards recognizing the company as a top place to work.

“It has definitely been great to work alongside my brothers and our “second family” of employees over the years,” Cline added. “While we are proud of our accomplishments, we feel like we are just getting started. You can expect more to come from Corporate Traffic!”
